APPEARING WEEKLY:

GIRLS NIGHT OUT
Jazz Jam
Every Thursday Night
8:00pm – Midnight
at Chalkers Pub
247 Marlee Avenue
(a short walk from Glencairn Subway Station)

Girls Night Out is a vocalist-friendly Toronto jazz jam session that has been running for over 100 weeks!

For over two years the beautiful and talented singer Lisa Particelli has been providing an environment in which jazz is fun and educational while also being 'safe' for singers to be themselves. The result has created what prominent local bass player Ross MacIntyre has called "the only jam session in Toronto with a real sense of community". Amen to that! The encouraging, supportive environment has made singers out of audience members as well as forming a group of friends known as "the regulars". Linda Berry-Robinson, Debbie Barber, Tina Nodwell, Pat Murray, Linda Carone, Coleman Tinsley, Chris Hercules, Ilana Waldston, Michele Lawrence, Jen Sagar, Jana Cassidy, Rita di Ghent and yours truly welcome you to join us. Some of the musicians that continue to make it so memorable include house players Norman Marshall Villeneuve and Peter Hill as well as frequent visitors Buddy Aquilina, Bernie Senensky, Ross MacIntyre, Bobby Hsu, Jim Heineman, Rick Donaldson, Tony Nield, Eddie K. and Aaron Knight.

No cover, tips welcome...GIRLS NIGHT OUT IS FUN FOR EVERYONE!
